DANCING
The Wellington College Old Girls' Association has arranged a dance to be held in the Sydney Street Hall to-morrow evening. The chaperons for the evening will be Mrs. Norwood, Mrs. H. Kirkcaldie, Mrs. Dawson, Miss M'Lean, and Miss Batham. It is quite impossible for the 'committee to get hi touch with every old girl, so it has been decided to invite all old girls by advertisement, and invitations or tickets may be obtained on application to the committee or G. Jeffreys, Lambton quay. It is hoped that all old girls will support the committee, who are endeavouriug to make the dance a great success, by attending with their friends. A social and dance will be held by the New Zealand Manx Society in the Orange Hall, Daniell street, to-morrow evening, at 7.30. ' '
The Maytime Jazz Club's "Joy Night," to be held in the Town Hall to-morrow evening, promises to provide an excellent source of entertainment. A good orchestra has been engaged, the hall will be well heated, and the floor will leave little to be desired. Members of the Auckland Association football team are invited to be present.
