BURGLARIES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) MAETON, This Day. The second burglary within three days occurred at Kiernan's Butchery, at Marton Junction. The place was broken open, the cash register smashed, and about £2 stolen. The shop stands in an isolated position, and was only recently occupied by its present proprietor.
ASHBUETON, This Day.
Tho second burglary within a week took place at Alan Wilson and Co.'s shop, where thieves forced a back window and took 50s from a coat hanging in the shop, and also three shillings i'rom a till and 'a small quantity of cigarettes.
