An increase is shown in the Customs and beer duties collected at the port of Wellington last month, when compared with the figures for June, 1925. Taranaki Oil Fields, Ltd., report :~ Tarata: Well plugged and filled; now dismantling rig. East Coast No. 1 well (Waiapu): Drilled to POOft in sticky blue shale. Show of gas at 585 ft. 125-inch diameter casing run to 594 ft.
