FARMERS' EXCURSION
THE FIRST OF PROPOSED SERIES,

HAMILTON, 30th June. The farmers' excursion train left Frankton this morning for Hawera, carrying about three hundred excursionists from all parts of the Waikato, and many more joined the train at King Country stations. Films of the journey were taken, to be sent abroad, and instructors of the Department of Agriculture on the train gave lectures on the various types of country to be seen. The excursionists will return to Frankton on Saturday mornirg.
