SHORTAGE OF COAL
REDUCING SUPPLY OF GAS.
SYDNEY, Bth June.
Owing to the serious depletion of coal stocks, the State Government has decided to bring the Electric Light and Gas Emergency Act of 1917 into operation to-morrow, and reduce the supply of gas to consumers by half.
