BODY FOUND IN RIVER

IDENTIFIED AS MARTON RESIDENT.

WANGANUI, TMs Day. A body found in the river yesterday has been identified as that of Mr. M. Copestake, of Marton, secretary of the Returned Soldiers' Association and of the Chamber of Commerce in that town, and Marton representative of the Wanganui "Herald." The deceased had been missing for about ten days. He was a returned soldier.
