UNEMPLOYMENT
DEMONSTRATION IN AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, This Day.
About three hundred men, some of whom were not unemployed, gathered at the Labour Department's office this morning, and a man on a lorry, addressing them,^ said they wanted work, and called on the unemployed to fail in for a march along Quean street to the Civic Square. About fifty responded. Thcro will be a further demonstration at the Civic Square after a deputation to the Mayor.
