(From Our Own Correspondent.) liONDON, 23rd March. : Colonel C. Gray, Government representative and chairman of the Fruit Export Control Board, has visited Bristol and Cardiff, and has made arrangement for a firm at each centre to handle New Zealand apples. One of the vessels carrying New Zealand fruit will Evrive at Glasgow about the end oi! April, and will then go direct to Cardiff »nd Bristol. Later on in the season the Southampton will also carry fruit direct to those ports. "Very Kttio New Zealand fruit," «*id Colonel Gray, "has been seen in the West of England, and they seem very keen on obtaining it." Colonel Gray has also been in negotiation with the Continent, but for'the present he ViU be dealing with Continental buyers through London representatives.
