EMPRESS THEATRE.

The attraction at the Empress Theatre, showing finally to-day ; is an amu&ing- com-edy-drama, "Lovers in Quarantine," featuring _Bebe Daniels and Harrison Ford. The story centres on Anthony .Blunt, who plans to run away with Pamela Gordon, sister of. the character taken by Bebe Daniels. " The second special feature on the; bill, "Racing Luck," . introduces the great comedian, Monty Banks, to the' screen. There are some great speed stunts in the film, which is full of excitement, romance, and mystery. "THE DARK SWAN." "The Dark Swan," announced as toe. feature attraction to-morrow at the Empress Theatre, is the photoplay version of Ernest. Pascal's much discussed novel, which was published more than a year ago, and has since taken rank as one of the fastest selling novels of the present decade. It is a story of American customs and social conditions. Helene Chadwick, a newcomer to Warner Bros, productions, has the most interesting role in "The Dark Swan" story, although Marie Prevost is cast in a part which suits her admirably and in which she cannot fail to win new laurels. Monte Blue has the male lead. Laugh and the world laughs with you, work and you work alone can be applied to Douglas Mac Lean in "Seven' Keys to Baldpate," the second feature. The supports are of excellent quality.
