CHRISTCuoiiCII, This Day. A now typo of electric railway carriage, with a storage battery, will be run on the Christchurch-Lyttelton lino, probably within a month. This will bo the first of its type to have been tried in'the Dominion, The. body of the car, built in Christchurch, was inspected yesterday by the Prime Minister. Mr. Coates stated that tho building of the coach is sufficiently far advanced to put it on the imported chassis, which is now in Pctone.'
