GAZETTING Or REGULATIONS.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Public Works (the Right Hon. J. G. Coates) informed a "Post" reporter this afternoon that the regulations drawn up dealing with the question of competition between buseß and trams would most likely be gazetted to-night. Mr. Coates stated that the regulations had been amended in some respects, but they embodied the results of the investigations made by Mr. J. Christie, Principal Crown Law Officer, during his recent visit abroad, and conformed to the general principles of similar regulations in other countries.
