MANAWATU OVERTURES DENIED,
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMEESTON N., This Day. Speaking at the annual meeting of the Manawatu A. and P. Association yesterday, the retiring president, Mr. J. H. Perrett, stated that the association had made no request that the Eoyal Show should be held here this year, and declared that any statements alleging that overtures in this direction had been made were incorrect.
