FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
FROM NEW ZEALAND UNIONS.
The secretary of the Alliance of Labour (Mr. J. Roberts) told a "Post" reporter this afternoon that the question of offering financial assistance to the workers at Home had not yet been considered. It was likely, however, that consideration would be given to the matter before very long.
It is understood that the New Zealand Labour Party will also discuss the same matter very shortly.
The Wellington watersiders, it was stated to-day, had forwarded £100 to the headquarters of their federation for transmission to Britain.
