Charles Henry Whitehead, a prisoner at the Waikune^ Prison Camp, Erua, made his escape from custody yesterday afternoon. The escaped prisoner was at large during the storm last night, and as he is in only regulation clothes he would suffer considerably in the heavy thunderstorm.
