■ There.was a moderate attendance of householders at the Mount Cook School meeting. Mr. R.-Simpson presided. The annual report, which was adopted, stated that the roll number of the three Rchools Btood at;Bso at the beginning of the year, but the total at present was 775. The report aleo stated that the schools had made.good progress during the year. The election of the school committee resulted as follows:—Messrs. R. Simpson (chairman), A. C. Blair, J. ~R. Burley (secretary),. W. E. Howe, C. M'lntyre, W. D...MKM. K.--S. M'Nair, J. G. Macpnerson, and W. G. Port. The retiring cllaiyi.na.ll,: Mr. W. E.
