KENDALL STRING QUARTETTE.
It is many years since Wellington has had a, visit from a string quartette from overseas, therefore the musical community will accord the Kendall String Quartette a great welcome. The first programme is one that must make a very general appeal, including the wonderful Beethoven Op 18, No. 6; also that great favourite, Dvorak's "Nigger" quartette. The first concert of the series will be given on Thursday in the Conceit Chamber, and will be followed by three more. Music-lovers should note that the box planu will open to-day at' Tho Bristol, and students' concessions are also announced.
