HOCKEY IN OTAKI
A meeting of the Otaki Hockey SubAssociation ■was held on Friday night, Mr. H. Nicolson presiding. It was decided to writo to the Borough Council in regard to charging for admission to matches and to play a match for the Mahima Rose Bowl at the end of the competition fixtures. These fixtures will commence on Wednesday nest, at 2 p.m., and Messrs. Adsett and Hill have been appointed referees: It was reported that Mr. Ciiffe had' agreed to watch Otaki's interests on the parent body, and a vote of thanks was passed to him for his generous offer.
