ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
To-morrow night, in the Town Hall, the St. John Ambulance Association is holding a. dance in. aid of its building fund. For many years past members o£ the association have attended all the sports grounds in the course of their duty; their work has been done silently and well. The association is sorely in need of suitable quarters, wherefrqm the teaching of first aid, etc., may be carried on, and Tuesday's function presents an opportunity to the people of Wellington to assist a worthy cause. The best of music will be provided by Bird's Columbian Orchestra, including a French tango. The supper arrangements are being carried out by- a special committee of lit. John ladies, under the guidance of. Mesdames Murphy and Preston. Tickets niay be obtai7ied at the office of the association, 54, Willis street (Herb Price's: Building), from the secretary, or at the Town Hall to-morrow night. ,
