THE BRITISH EXHIBITS
A proposal made by Mr. C. M. Bowien (secretary-Associated Chambers of Commerce) in his private capacity, that the British Government exhibit at the Duncdin Exhibition should be shown in Wellington has come to nothing. The idea was warmly supported by severel local residents, as well as Mr. J. W. Collins, Secretary Department of Industries and but the DeputyCommissioner, Mr. S. J. Graham, has ■written pointing out that it is not feasible. The. expense was one consideration, but headquarters in London was requesting thij return of the exhibits as early aa possible after the Dunedin Exhibition in ;order to recondition them for other exhibitions.
