DEATH OF MRS. LAWS
NURSE CHARGED WITH MURDER.

MELBOURNE, This Day.
In connection with the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Laws at Oakleigh, where her body was found propped against a tree by the roadside. Mary Ethel Hudson, _ a nurse, married, has 'been charged with murder.
The body of a middle-aged woman, fully dressod, was found noar the road at Oakleigh in the early morning of 25th March in a sitting posture against a tree. There were wheel marks nearby. An examination revealed that death had followed a certain operation, and' that the body had been hurriedly dressed and taken in a vehicle to the spot \vhere ,it was found. So far there is no clue as to who the perpetrators are.
