Beporting to the Prime, Minister on the encouragement of industrial science, Sir Frank Heath (Secretary >f "the Department of Scientific and 'Industrial Besearch, London), Tecommends that the present Australian' Commonwealth Institute of Science and Industry be reconstituted at a cost in the first year of £40,000, in, the second year £50,000, and ultimately £100,000. ' , s,f ; He says that less scientific work has been done in Australian dairying .than - in any other branch of agriculture.
