FATHER SHOT DEAD
SEQUEL TO FAMILY QUARREL. (United Press Association.—Copyright) SYDNEY; 23rd March. Following a family quarrel in which Alexander Strong (57 years of age) is alleged to have 'threatened the members of his family. f.t'\ Smith's Creek, near Murwillumbah", his son, Brnce. Strong (aged 26), is alleged to have fired two shots with a rifle at his father, killing him. Bruce Strong was arrested and charged with murder. In a statement to the police he said that he fired in self-defence.
