LAW-BBEAKER SENT TO GAOL.

The police at midday discovered a twenty-year-old girl with the hem of her skirt 15 inches above the ground. She was tried immediately, and sent to gaol for twenty-four hours. The verdict was received with loud hisses by the crowded Court.
