STEAM HEAT ON TAP
NEW SYSTEM IN BERLIN,
(United Press Association.—Copyright) (Sydney Sun Cable.) (Received 23rd March, 9 a.m.) BERLIN, 22nd March. Tho Charlottensburg Municipality is introducing long distance steam heating from a central furnace supplying schools, civic buildings, and also enabling housewives to turn on heat with a tap like gas and water. Berlin is adopting and installing the system in Government offices. Doctors predict that steam heating will eliminate tho smoke pall resulting from thousands of chimneys.
