ANNUAL MEETING.

.Jhe annual meeting of the .■Welling-. toii Harriers was held at the V.M.C.A. last evening, Mr. F. Wilton presiding 1 over an attendance of twenty members. In moving the adoption of the ani nual report and balance-sheet the chair- • man referred to the healthy position of- the club and the keenness of members, seven of whom gained badges for attending each of the twenty-three runs held last season. The balancesheet showed a balance of £8 13s sd. ' The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr. W. H. Bennett; ,- vice-presidents, Messrs. H. J. Pollock, C. W. Palmer, M. Burnett, A. Smith; committee, Messrs. S. Morris, E. Williams, B. Spence; delegate to Wellington Centre, N.Z.A.A.A., Mr. T. Farrington; delegate to Harriers' Sub-committee, Mr. C. Dove-r-et£; handicapper and- selector, Mr. F. Harlen; auditor, Mr. H. A. Lamb. it, was decided to hold an unofficial run from Lyall Bay on Saturday next, 27th instant. The president (Mr. W. H. Bennett) addressed .members, urging them to do their -utmost in the interests of the club, and to uphold the sporting traditions which; had been achieved by the efforts of inenabers during the past 23 years. ' A hearty vote of thanks was carried to Mr. W. Donaldson for his services to the club, particularly as handicapper and selector, from which positions he had retired after holding them for several years.
