PROPOSED TOUR ABROAD
THE APPEAL FOR FUNDS.
(By Telegraph.-Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 22ndVMarch. The appeal for funds to finance B. A. Rose's tour abroad met with a satisfactory response at the New Zealand Athletic championship meeting, last w.cek. About £50 was subscribed, and this money will be sent to the council at Wellington. The local caiitre is communicating with the various sports bodies in Otago, appealing for assistance for the fund. - '■'■. , '-. ■
