Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Kellum and party from the yacht Kaimiloa arrived on Tuesday, and spent Wednesday fishing on the lake. The party, which comprised five rods, caught 56 trout, the largest, which weighed #ilb, being landed by Miss Kellum. Interviewed on Wednesday evening, Mr. Kellum said that he had just had the best day's fishing he had ever experienced on. fresh water. The size of the fish was wonderful, and the trout caught at Eotorua were not to be compared with those caught at Taupo that day. Mr. Kellum also said that he had decided to return to Tanpo next month for a fortnight's fishing.
