ENTERTAINMENT AT PALMERSTON.
(By T«l«gr»ph.—Presi Association.^ V. PAIiMEKSTON N^ This Day. Three officers from the French sloop Casniopee, arrived in Polmerston fron Wellington to-day, and were the guests of local bodies. They were entertained at liincheon, the Mayor (Mr. Nathan) presiding. They were taken on a tour of tfte town and environs, returning to Wellington in the afternoon. '
