AFTER REHEARING OF A CASE.

Slfred Bolton Carey aged 20, and John Wakefield, a Maori, who had been convicted and given two months' imprisonment on 25th January, for alleged assault, were released yesterday, after a rehearing of the case by Mr. Widdowsen, S.M.
