LONDON TALLOW SALES.
The following cablegrams, dated London, 10th Instant, have been received regarding the London tallow sale::— Bank of New Zealand: "Tallow—There is a fair demand at 6d per cwt ;cllne." Dalgety and Co.: "Tallow—l26o casks of, tallow offered, 360 casks told. Since our last report prices are 6d per cwt lower. Fine mutton :44s o<l to 455, fine beef 42s to 42s 6d; good mixed 40s, Inferior 35s to 375." New Zealand loan and Mercantile- Tallow: We quote present cl.f. and c. values for the following descriptions: Fine mutton, 44s per cwt; good beef, 42s 6d per cwt; mixed,' 40s per cwt Our quotations are more or less nominal." ' BTJTTEB AND CHEESE QUIET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., hare received the following cablegram from their London house under date 10th lnstantj:—"Dairy Produce: Butter, New Zealand, -174s to 176e per cwt Vtfy quiet. Cheese, 90s to 104s per cwt. Market quiet." Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., hare received the following cable from their London house, dated 10th February: "New Zealand butter, 172s to 1745; New Zealand white cheese, 98s to 995; New Zealand coloured cheese, 102s to 103s; both very quiet."
