FORGERY BY AN INDIAN

AUCKLAND, Oth February. The retrial of Saua Fakir Kara, an ■Indian hawker, was continued in the Supreme Court to-day. Accused was charged with having forgsd a specification for tho building of a motor body, purporting to have been signed oy Leonard Kerr, of Te Puke, and also with having attempted to cause Afv. Justice Alpers to net upon the document as genuine. Tho jury returned ,1 verdict of guilty, and prisoner was remanded until to-morrow for sentence. :
