NORTHLAND TUNNEL
The inquiry into the construction of the Northland tunnel is proceeding. The Commissioners have hail quite a number of sittings, .and ai-e, first of all, confining their attention to a thorough examination of all documents, council minutes, and like records, as a basis for taking evidence ■ when the investigation reaches that stage. Though the inquiry may not at any time be open to the Press, the finding of the Commissioners will be published in due course. ._
