WELLINGTON COLLEGE
INADEQUATE ACCOMMODATION.
A deputation from the Board of Governors of Wellington College will wait on the Minister of Education to-morrow morning to raise questions concerning the accommodation at the Boys' College.
The number of names on the new roll just compiled is 911, as compared with 847 at the same time last year, and this despite the establishment of the Hutt Valley School. The seating accommodation at present is said to be sufficient for 865 pupils. Last year an arrangement of a temporary nature was made to accommodate pupils, but further makeshift accommodation is said to be impossible, and pupils are '' double-banking.''
