NEW EXHIBITS IN THE AUSTRA-
LIAN COURT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 9th February.
The twelfth' week of the exhibition closed yesterday, with the attendance record at 1,495,170, which is equal to the exceptional daily average of 21,059.
To-morrow night the Exhibition Operatic Society, makes its first appearance in the musical comedy, "Floradora," which is being produced on a magnificent scale in the Festival Hall. The season will last till 16th February, and on the 20th the monster brass bands contest, which will last a week, in which 48 bands will participate, will open. •
In a radio talk, Mr. H. W. Norsby, Queensland Commissioner, said, in the course ,of a lecture: "About a month ago I gave listeners my impressions of the Exhibition. Since then many improvements have taken place, and today it is even more wonderful in its vast display and educational value. The remarkable attendance that is being maintained clearly indicates that the Exhibition, as an attraction, is not standing still." He instanced the. wonderful display of summer blooms in the beautiful gardens and side-walks, the new Wellington and Auckland Courts, and the additions to the already imposing British Government Court, which, he said, should be seen by all New Zealanders.
