PUTS OUT VICTORIAN FIRES.

MELBOURNE, This Day. A sudden rain practically extinguished the bush fires in the Dandenong Ranges, but the embers of the forest are still smouldering. Large patrols are watching for fresh outbreaks. The forest rangers consider the danger past.
