GRASS AND FENCES GONE
HEAVY. DAMAGE-IN ALBURY AREA. SYDNEY, 9th February. Although small ihoweri of rain temporarily checked the bush fires in the district between Albury and Wagga, they have broken out again and thousands of acres of grass and many miles of fences have been destroyed./ Valuable State forests are also blazing fiercely, but reports from Victoria state the serious fires there have burnt themselves out.
