AUCKLAND CASES

AUCKLAND, 9th February.
At tho Supreme Courjj Nathan Morris appeared on two charges of indecent assault on an old woman and one of common assault. Counsel for accused said as the woman was unable to appear he had arranged with the Crown, to plead guilty to the charge of common assault if the other two charges were withdrawn. His Honour said this was reasonable, and sentenced- accused to come up for sentence when called upon for common assault. Accused is to be placed on hi| ship at Dunediii.
