FIRE AT ISLAND BAY
A call was received by the Fire Brigade yesterday to a two-story wood and iron dwelling of six rooms, at the corner of Hadfield street and Marsden road, Island Bay, owned by Mrs. Kate Woods and occupied by William Scoble. The building was totally destroyed. The insurance on the building was £600 in the Sun Office, and the contents were covereA by a policy of £100 in the United Office.
