KING'S THEATRE.

The principal feature in an extreme entertaining programme now showing at the King's Theatre is a screen adaptation of one of the most famous stage lilays ever produced, "Excuse Me,", by Rupert Hughes. There is a rare combination of famous players, including Norma Shearer, Conrad Nagel, Walter Hiers, Renee Adoree, and Bert Roach. A fine supporting programme is coupled with splendid music, presented by the King's Select Orchestra. Box plans are available at The Bristol until 5.30 daily, after at the theatre. Greeted with tremendous success wherever shown, "The Sporting Venus," a Metro-Goldwyn production extraordinary, directed by Marshall Neilan, experiences its first New Zealand presentation with that of next Friday. There are several noteworthy features that lift this appealing romance to great heights-^story, settings, and backgrounds, a brilliant cast of players (including Ronald Colman, Blanche Sweet, Lew Cody, and George ■Fawcett), and a forceful climax.
