BBEMEN ABANDONS SEARCH.
OTTAWA, 27th January
A wireless from the German liner Bremen, received on Wednesday ,at Halifax, Nova Scotia, indicated that the British freighter Lariston has gone to pieces, and that twenty-five members of the crew are lost.
Following the two-day battle with the wind and snow in the North Atlantic, the Bremen, which has been standing by since she rescued six men on Tuesday, abandoned the search for the survivors.
