MASTERTON SHOW

Entries for the Masterton Show will close with the secretary (Mr. R. H. Williams, P.O. Box 84, Masterton) tomorrow night. The Show this year promises to be one of the most successful Leld by the association in recent years, and the most noted sheep and cattle breeders will be competing against each other. The ring events will be a feature of the Show, and success in this section puts the stamp of high merit on the winner. In other sections in which the public take particular interest —poultry, home industries, sewing, produce, Mowers, vegetables, dogs, and sheepdog trials—there promises to be a particularly fine display, as already these sections are filling well. For the Kennel Club show there are cups valued at. £160, and the most successful exhibitors in the southern portion of tiie North Island will be displaying their animals. The ram fair will be held on 18th and 19th February, and entries close on 30th January.
