ARTILLERY BAND.

The Artillery Band will play a select programme of jazz music' (weather permitting) at the General Post Office Square, on New Year's Eye, commencing at 10.30 p.m., and continuing until 12 o'clock, when "Auld Lang Syne" will be played, a« a farewell to 1923. An. appeal is being made in aid of the band's new instrument fund, and it is hoped that those enjoying the fun will give as liberally as possible.
