Tilt) "Daily Express,*' under tho headline "Problem of Australia's future," across the fi'Olit page, features tlie report of Mr. R. W. Daltoh, British Trade Commissioner for Australia, on the situation in Australia to June, 1925, which kas been issued by the Department of Overseas Tractc. Tlie "Express" says that Mr. Daltiu places in tho foreground of his picture two striking facts—that Australia is the land of many einpty spaces and two great Cities—and gives prominence to a passage in which Mr. Dalton discusses the effect of high tariffs and the development of manufactures on the drift to the cities.
