Leaving a last poem written in blood, Serguey Essenin, who married Isadora Duncan, the classical dancer, committed suicide at Leningrad. His death recalls the scandal caused in a Paris hotel, where Essenin, who was always of a nervous, eccentric temperament, smashed the entire furniture'of their suite (luring a periodic fit of rage.
