SHORTT'S THEATRE.

A grand revival is being given at, Shortt's Theatre to one of (ho njost popular iilms of the day, "The Sea Hawk.'' Rafael Sabatini's famous story is acted by Milton Sills and an extensive cast. The second feature on a special holiday programme is ''Tin's is tlio Life," a liliti which was taken almost entirely on tlic Berengaria. and Mauri'.Innia, two grout Cunard liners. The supports ure also of good variety.

DE LUXE THEATRE. ' "Peter Pan" has been eminently sucj cessful at the De Luxe Theatre at the daily matinees, and it will be continued until New Year's Eve (Thursday). The delightful story should be seen by all | children and adults too. The star part is played by Betty Bronson. A special feature, "Old Home Week," featuring Thomas Meighan and Lila Lee will be screened during the coming week. This photoplay is rich in story and dramatic situations. In addition, Stereoscopiks No. 2, entirely different to the ones already seen, will be shown, and a big supporting programme. The box plans are at The Bristol, Aitken's Book Arcade, or ring theatre. "THE WHITE SISTER," Portrayed by one of the strongest casts ever brought _together for the making of a single picture, and produced on a scale probably unparalleled in,, the history of the silent drama, "The White Sister," a big Metro-Goldwyn release which will be shown at the De Luxe on Friday at the matinee, and then nightly at 8 o'clock, is a triumph of the producers' art. The actors and actresses in whose keeping has been entrusted the interpretation of the various roles are all people who long ago earned their names in the world of motion pictures. The immensity of the climax, the emotional appeal of the theme itself, and a hundred other things contribute towards its success. One thing stands out strikingly from all the rest—that is the work of Lillian Gish, a delightful, clever little lady who has lieeu acclaimed by critics as a great emotional actress. Even amongst so many clever people Miss Gish stands out like a rare brilliant in the midst of a glorious constellation. From the first sub-title to the final i'ade-out the picture holds the interest of the spectators in a manner that has seldom been paralleled. . A special musical score has been arranged, while a fitting prologue will be staged. The box plans are at The Bristol, Aitken's Book Arcade, or ring the theatre.
