AUCKLAND, This Day. The Auckland Racing Club's Summer Meeting was continued in fine weather. The course was in good order and there was a large attendance. Results:—
Fergusson Handicap, of 500 soys; one and a quarter miles.—Star Area, 8.4, 1; Miss Vera, 7.11, 2; Wcnday, 7.13, 3. Scratched: Nippy. Won by a length. Time, 2min Bsec.
King's Plate, of 650 soys; one mile. —Reremoana, 1; Lady Ridicule,. 2; Mandane, 3. All started. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 38 3-ssec.
1 Ponsonby Hurdles, of 600 soys; one and three-quarter miles.—Kawa, 'J. 2, 1; Crown Coin, 9.11, 2; Merry Singer, 10.6, 3. Scratched: Lucullent. Won by three lengths. Time, 3min 14 3-ssec.
Summer Cup, of 1400 soys; one and a quarter miles.—The Thorn, 7.0, 1; Fool's Paradise, 7.7, 2.
