NELSON, This Day. A party of Thames motorists, consisting of Mr. and Mrs. W. Judd, Allan Judd (son), Miss Judd (daughter), and Leslie Judd (cousin), had a sensational experience on the Murchison road yesterday. While negotiating a bend they met a motor-lorry, and while passing it the edge of the road gave way, precipitating the car and its occupants thirty feet below. The car came to rest against a tree slump, and the occupants were shot out through the hood. All escaped injury, excepting the two ladies. Mrs. Judd received severe facial injuries, including a broken nose, and her daughter had a severe cut on the leg. Both ?re in the 'Public Hospital, but their condition is not serious.
