Although the owners' offers had not been accepted by the strikers as a whole, the leaders admit that a considerable number have returned to their, ships. On two or three vessels in the stream the cpniplements are not far short of the original crews. ;
It is stated that a number of, the men who have returned are naval ratings, who fear that in the event of conviction they will be automatically deprived of any pension to which they are entitled. ' .
