On 6th April, 1917, the United States" Navy consisted of 364 vessesl, 4376 officers, and 64,680 enlisted men. At tlio signing of the Armistice the United States Navy consisted of 2000 vessels, 32,462 officers, 507,607 enlisted men, 70,000 marinei.
