LAWN TENNIS
THE AUSTRALIAN PAIR FAVOURITES, (AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) (Received 29th August, 2 p.m.) CHESTNUT HILL, 28th August. ■ The tennis match between Vincent Richards and R. N. Williams and the Kinsey brothers, in the National Doubles was disappointing. The Kinseys appeared to be out of form, and as Richards and Williams both dislike slow play, the game was consequently patchy. The Australians are strong favourites for the final.
Hawkes and Miss M'Kane played exceptional tennis, and should win the final of the-mixed doubles.
The courts are in splendid order, and the weather prospects for the finals are good._
